Think hard.

I stumbled across a website called “50 Questions That Will Free Your Mind”. It’s been bookmarked on my computer for awhile now and I finally decided to do it. I figured I’d answer 10 at a time…sooo here it goes.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

That’s hard to say. I’m more mature then 21 years old but at the same time I don’t feel like I’m a very old 21. That being said I’d probably give myself 19 years old only because I live a fairly sheltered life and I’m still a bit dependent.

Which is worse, failing or never trying?

Never trying. Hands down. I honestly believe it’s better to try and fail because it’s the only way you’ll learn. You’d never learn anything in life if you didn’t make any mistakes.

If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

This question made me laugh because it’s so true. There are a lot of things we have to do that aren’t necessarily enjoyable but that are crucial. I for one don’t enjoy doing loads of laundry but without it I think I’d smell pretty fierce. I do, however, believe it’s also important never to put off things that make you happy or that you want to do. You only live once so take the time to do the things that you enjoy.

When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Most likely unfortunately. I’m a real talker and not the biggest risk taker. It depends on the situation but I do a lot of talking and not the biggest amounts of actual “doing”. I have gotten better over the years though.

What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

Money. I wish there was a way to make things more equal. It makes me sick to look at these spoiled celebrities in Hollywood or these stuck up rich people who look down on me people. Meanwhile we have children dying in Africa and people living on the streets freezing to death. I understand that people work hard for their money and it’s business but I wish it was more fair. I also hate what money does to people and how horrible they can act just because they have it. Do people really need 4 kitchens in their home? Or an entire cleaning staff? Or 12 garages for 200 cars? This money could be used for greater things. When we die none of this shit comes with us…so wouldn’t you want to die with a good conscious?

If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?

Music. Just like what I’m doing now. Anything that would involve listening to music or discovering it.

Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

I’m 100% doing what I believe in.

If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?

My life would be a lot more cramped that’s for sre. I’m someone who really takes their time. I’m not rushing myself at all. If life ended at 40 I would probably have children in my 20’s when in reality it would be in my 30’s. I would also start pursuing my career seriously at the age of 15 and not get to enjoy my childhood as much. I would also panic pretty hard if I hadn’t found the right guy by the age of 20. Life would be too cramped.

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?

My parents are a huge part of my life. They’re the two closest people in my life and they’ve really pushed me in the right direction. Over the last few years I’ve really taken charge and chosen what career path I want to go down and where I plan on living but without them I don’t know if my life would have been as great and easy as it was. It’s thanks to them that I get to choose my life path so easily.

Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

QUEEN of worrying right over here. Can I say both? I’d say I’m more worried about doing things right. I always ask for reassurance when I’m not sure at work or in the kitchen or anywhere really. I don’t want to do it wrong. I generally choose the right things in life, I’m cautious about that but not worried.
